The poetry of Amanda Joy.
i read and re-read, following the thin blue stream as it traverses shafts of sunlight, its shape-shifting nature revealed, then hidden.
This one is gorgeous, Amanda Joy, (so aptly named). I love the traces of thought that words are just merest whispers of in your poetry, like the thought emotion event is barely visible beneath the smooth silk of the words. One of the best things about putting poems in your own site (blog is such an ugly word)is that you have complete control over their presentation. The poems are framed by the site and what you have done with this series, with it's attention to typography (a subject which fascinated and obsessed many poets), is a wonderful example of this idea. Good morning.
